Let me tell you, after doing the book lecture/signing at St. Elmo's Coffee Pub yesterday, all I can say is ALEXANDRIA IS MORRISON COUNTRY! The place was stuffed to capacity and the Morrison fans/old friends/new converts came out of the woodwork. I sold the 83 books I brought with me and had to turn away more than a dozen customers. Jim's old hometown still loves the Doors and their fallen hero. Mark O

Is there any evidence of Jim Morrison in the public Library in Alexandria or in the schools library? The original books from that era might still be around. View of Alexandria, VA," by J.T. Palmatary, 1853
I am glad you sold all the books, good job.

To my knowledge there is no evidence of Morrison in either library. The books from that era have been purged. Mark O
