My question to as well The 3 remaining Doors members as well as the Morrison and Courson family and all other people who get on a regular basis money from Jim Morrison's talents, is : What can you do for his restingplace at Pere La Chaise??? In other words:"His Grave" !!!???? Having earned millions now through all those years, atleast youall people can get him a new grave, and offcourse dig him up when you're at it to show the whole world that he was buried in a black suit with tie and some stuff like pictures and other memorabilias in his coffin. I am sure that some of the stuff that was putted in his coffin with his body is still in there, depite the 40 years that have gone by. Anyway,it would be nice ,I mean GREAT, that before July 2010 his eternal restingplace will be doneas proper as possible to the standards of the finances that have been made possible by his talent !!! Please do the right thing !!! No more mystery !!! Please dig him up and give him a proper burial !!! He earns that !!! Money isn't a problem for me btw!!! So pplease. Once again, Do the right thing!!!
Like Jim Would say with some proper stotter: Dddo the right thing !!!
I seem to recall countless newspaper articles over the decades that have worn this story out time and time again. A majority of these "stories" were fueled by Ray Manzarek's lust for attention. Evidence of this is posted in print form all over this forum.
Please read the
1998 Newsweek article titled, "Morrison Boneyard: Strange Days" as I believe it will answer your questions concerning the disposition of Jim's plot in Pere Lachaise.
http://forum.johndensmore.com/index.php?showtopic=2446In my opinion, Jim Morrison has had enough of a circus dancing around and on his grave since a headstone was placed there back in 1981. This same circus like atmosphere was one of the contributing factors that convinced Morrison to go to Paris in the first place back 1971 as a means of escape. According to people who were in Morrison's company, in Paris before his death and those who attended the funeral it was Jim's wishes to be buried in Pere Lachaise. You can find the interviews in relation to this story in a thread titled, "Morrison's Grave". There were too many witnesses that saw Jim's body which quells the rumors of him still being alive. Of course, it is up to each individual reading the interviews and evidence on this thread to believe or not believe the claims.
