I love the version of LMF on Alive she cried and whats included live on the 1997 box set. To be quite honest I don't think they performed much of the la woman album live and probably some stuff off soft parade but they pretty much covered the first two albums and third albums here and there as I mentioned the best place to look is the book the doors on the road by greg shaw but I know that book is now hard to find.

I never saw The Doors live so I really can't answer the question,I can tell you if you listen to Isle if Wight Jim Morrison sounded great but people say he was lack luster and hanging on the mic drunk,I liked the show. Absolutely Live which is one of my favorite albums of all time was negatively reviewed by the press when it came out,go figure, raw represented poor production values back then, but it was pure, raw and energetic. This was before garage bands and Neil Young brought the truth shining out of the over produced mx of the 70' and 80's and Cobain cracked his egg on America's face with 2 take wonders and content.Content,content,content.

I always love the Nivana unplugged in NY. One of their last performances. If Cobain hated performing big shows he culd have easily kept to the acoustic performances.
