You are the gentle rain
that weeps for me,
Every breath love
breathes eats into me,
My reflection in you eyes
confronts to greet me,
What do you think
you've seen within me?
I don't understand
the words you need from me,
A ragged path of life
is all to speak for me.

Hi Biker,
I was just wondering where you had gone. Lovely and deep poetry you've brought back with you. There's such sadness though; I hope you are well.

I needed a bit of a break, I think, I'd run out of ideas!
The poem's probably a distillation of incidents with several people. Being loved can be intense in all kinds of ways, can't it? And then I thought it needed some kind of 'insightful ending' otherwise it wouldn't make much of a story.

Wow Biker! Several Loves?
Or am I twisting your words? I read.. "...incidents with several people...being loved...." and that's all I saw! Hehe!

Well, ther's several ways of being loved! By your lover/lovers, by your parents and/or guardians, by your friends, by your dog...etc...etc...etc.
Anyway, I definitly "gave it the Hollywood" to make it dramatic!

Hi again Bike,
Of course, there are many ways to be loved, but generally, the love of granny doesn't illicit such strong poetry!
I tried the "Hollywood" poetry once with "Bad Romance". I sort of regret posting it at times because it is so real that the character could be confused with me, when I literally had Lady Gaga in my mind as a character in a scene. I wonder when she may give movies a try. She seems very theatrical.

I remember that one, it was great! Anyway, yes, I was trying to describe a feeling, not being autobiographical!
