I think we're all probably real excited about the imminent release of John's new book. I know I am. Hopefully we'll be hearing some news any day now.

You are correct that that he did talk of writing a novel something like 10 years ago, but I believe he said at one point that he shelved it. I am, however, almost positive that this "new" book is not a novel, but true life accounts of things connected to John's time with The Doors.. and beyond.

I have turned my unfinished novel into a screenplay... it's the story of a young person's struggles during the Vietnam War, john d.

Well sure. Because Ray would have to be John's #1 pick for director
