When this came out I remember looking through the magazine a few times because I couldn't find it! I guessed it just looked like a real ad to me.  biggrin.gif

I remember when I bought this copy of Esquire back in 1991 I did a double take when I came across that GAP parody ad.  I wondered how they had put the photo together through computerized enhancement.  The photo comes across as seamless. Without stitches from the old to the updated.

The only problem with it is that gravity would have taken it's toll, i.e. thinner lips, drooping eyes, jowls, etc.  This face is just too young looking for a man in his mid-60s.  But it does look like a bad 49 y.o. Marlon Brando!  I would NEVER have recognized this as an age-enhanced Jim Morrison, and didn't at the time it came out.  I seem to recall they had a huge blow-up of it in the Gap store window on Hollywood Boulevard, and I still didn't recognize it!
