Hello,
As some of you may know, The Doors' long lost project 'Celebration of the Lizard' was supposed to be released on their third album. However, it was either too difficult to record or the band lost interest, either way it's only been released as a whole in three different forms:
Live at the Aquarius Theatre on Absolutely Live
Live at the Felt Forum, New York
And as a studio attempt on the 4Oth anniversary reissue of Waiting for the Sun.
However, they performed many different pieces of it live, like 'Wake Up/A Little Game/Hill Dwellers' at the Hollywood Bowl and 'Wake Up' at the London Roundhouse.
I always wished Celebration of the Lizard had been recorded successfully so I took it upon myself and combined all their best performances of it into one whole which sounds great. I also synced up footage from the Hollywood Bowl and London Roundhouse and made a video of it and posted it on youtube. I think true Doors fans will appreciate my efforts:
I am not promoting the sharing of their music or content illegally. I have been contacted by youtube and under Copyright laws I am permitted to use the content I have by WMG which owns the rights. This is strictly a fan video. I love The Doors and I am not trying to violate any terms of use. If I am I am sorry, I just think Doors fans and 'Celebration of the Lizard' fans will love what I have done. Again, I am a huge fan!

Nick,
I really enjoyed your video creation very much. But what if every Doors fan took it upon themselves to remix songs and create new videos? I'll tell you what would happen, there would be revolt, disorder and chaos that's what would happen.
I approve of your efforts and I got a feeling Jim Morrison the filmaker would too.
Cheers,
mj
I'm interested in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos, especially activity that appears to have no meaning. It seems to me to be the road toward freedom.

Thank you very much. I'm glad people are watching it. As for fan videos, there are already tons of them and there is a sort of chaos in the mere number of them, however they're all the same, and it was my plan to kind of break up the monotony of them.

I've been thinking about "Celebration of the Lizard" a long time, it was started by the Lewis Shiner book "Glimpses" it posits a possible track listing. I think "COTB" could have even had "Hello, I Love You" on it listen to the Oleander cover from "Stoned Immaculate" it finds the dread in the song
